My COVID-19 Story: Personal Narrative for Future Generations

Responding to COVID-19, the aim of this project was not only to help organize our thoughts and vent our emotions, especially in anxiety-ridden times, but also to educate future generations. I wanted to encourage myself and others to write about how we feel, how we act, how we thrive during these challenging times, especially the moments that have been particularly meaningful, difficult, comical or delightful during this pandemic. But most importantly, to make new friends and feel a sense of belonging to the community was the true underlying value of this project. And my wish became a reality!

This personal narrative project is supported by the Vancouver Foundation's Neighbourhood Small Grants, responsive to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On behalf of all of my collaborators, I thank Vancouver Foundation and Kitsilano Neighbourhood House for their generous funding and support.
