Walking out in nature to seek and find is my biggest inspiration. Picking up acorns, round pebbles, twigs, and leaves always centers me and sparks ideas of dyes, pigments, and paper-making. That’s my joy and fuel for creativity.

Artist-in-Residence (Fall 2020- Spring 2021)
Whether we be silly and laugh out loud or whether we sit still to watch sunsets, joy is ultimately connecting with others. Sharing our stories, our perspectives, our talents, being courageous enough to be ourselves, knowing we can disagree yet be respectful, and be friends with no judgement is all I can hope for.

Sitting on the floor in the living room, painting while I watch British telly with my mum. Listening to my dog drink fresh water from her bowl, nourishing her cells after a walk. Playing music while I garden at the side of the house.

I am always intrigued by creativity. Serving others with my creations brings me internal joy and satisfaction.

Book Design Intern (Spring 2021 -)
A simple conversation. Beautiful smiles. Rhythmic bird sounds from nearby trees. Exchanging slow blinks with my cat Pumpkin. Watercolours pigments blending together on the wet paper. Quiet moments of contemplation.... will always make my heart pound.
